Adults-only boutique B&B in Bruges
Guest experiences at B&B Royal Swans
Peace, freedom and the little details that make a difference.
Discover Bruges at your own pace, from a quiet place just moments from the historic centre.
Breakfast in your room, at your own pace
At B&B Royal Swans, the day begins in peace and quiet, without fixed breakfast times or any rush.
You enjoy breakfast whenever it suits you, served in the privacy of your room, with an à la carte breakfast prepared around your choices. This helps us avoid unnecessary food waste, combining comfort with a conscious and sustainable approach.
We work with fresh local products from short supply chains, complemented by homemade treats and regional specialities. Everything is prepared with care, with attention to flavour and quality.
In summer, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you can also enjoy breakfast outdoors in a quiet corner of the garden — our Secret Garden Breakfast.

A peaceful place, thoughtfully kept small
With just five rooms, everything here stays quiet and personal. No crowds, no shared spaces where you have to queue — just a place where you can feel at ease from the moment you arrive.
You stay in a house where there is space to slow down, and to enjoy Bruges at your own pace.
The B&B is located in a residential neighbourhood, just outside the busier city centre. Close enough to reach Bruges on foot, yet quiet enough to unwind when you return.
That makes B&B Royal Swans a conscious choice for those who want to experience Bruges without the bustle of larger hotels.

Unique rooms, each telling their own story
Warme, natuurlijke Engelse vertaling:
Each room is inspired by a figure from Bruges’ rich history. The materials and details have been chosen with care, giving every room its own distinct character.
Not a standard interior, but a subtle nod to the past, present in every space. Original elements and reused materials are combined with contemporary comfort.
Sustainability, quietly woven into your stay
At B&B Royal Swans, sustainability is not a separate story, but something naturally woven into the house — from the very first renovation choices to the way we work today.
Materials were given a second life, original elements were carefully reused, and what no longer found its place here was given a new purpose elsewhere.
That same conscious approach continues in the rhythm of daily life. From an à la carte breakfast with local products to mindful choices around energy, water and waste — without disposable products and with respect for the environment.
Not through big words, but through the way the house is lived in every day.

Cycling in and around Bruges, right from the B&B
Bruges and the surrounding countryside are best explored by bike.
Just a short walk from the B&B, you’ll find a local bike rental service. And if you prefer to bring your own bike, you can store it safely with us in a covered space.
We’re always happy to share a few beautiful cycling routes, away from the busier paths.
Running from B&B Royal Swans
From the B&B, you step straight onto the Bruges Ramparts, the green edge of the city that lends itself perfectly to a run — whether relaxed or more challenging.
Along the canals and through the surrounding nature, you’ll find plenty of beautiful routes as well.
We enjoy running ourselves (and every now and then a marathon), and we’re always happy to share some of our favourite routes.
Small things that stay with you
From a book on the shelf to a quiet place to sit for a while — it is often the little things that give a stay that little bit extra.
In our small library, you’ll find a selection of books in different languages, and in our info corner we’re happy to share our personal tips to discover Bruges and its surroundings in a different way.
